DELIVERY DETAILS
We endeavour to post orders within 2 working days unless we are expecting a delivery of an out of stock item. If orders are required by a certain date please inform us when ordering. Although we do our best to maintain sufficient stock levels, we cannot guarantee stock availability at all times.
VAT at 15.0% is included in the price of goods where applicable. VAT (where applied) is deducted from orders delivered to the Channel Islands and Countries outside the EU.
Parcels over 1750g are sent by DPD Courier 24 hour delivery service (1 working day excluding weekends) - mainland UK only. Highlands of Scotland and Northern Ireland have a 2 day service.
For an additional charge orders can be sent by Royal Mail Guaranteed next day delivery (Sunday not included) only if ordered before 12 noon. (Mainland UK only)
Orders are sent by Royal Mail or DPD - we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the postal system. If orders sent by Royal Mail standard service are not received within 15 working days from date of dispatch a replacement order will then be sent at no extra charge. Customers wishing their orders to be sent again within this time period will have to pay again for their order including the postage. A refund of the goods will be given after 15 working days or when the missing parcel is returned to us whichever is the soonest. We should be advised of any damage to your order within seven working days from receipt of your order.
POSTAL CHARGES FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS.
Orders to countries outside the UK will be charged for postage according to weight and destination. Please contact us for details. We are unable to post flammable products (for example, confectioners glaze, glaze cleaner and aerosols) overseas for health and safety reasons. Orders over £100 will be given a 8% discount. For goods being sent outside the UK, it is for the customer to ensure that their goods are allowed for use in their location.
PACKAGING
To help the environment and to keep costs down we pack orders in recycled boxes and use recycled packaging.
PAYMENT
All major credit or debit cards are accepted but there is a 2.95% charge for the use of American Express. If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order (UK only) please contact us for details of acceptance.
RETURNED ITEMS
If you wish to return any items we must be notified of your intention within 7 days from receipt of order and the items are to be returned to us within 14 days. Please include your name, postcode and invoice number. Please pack well as damaged goods are un-saleable and will be charged for. Unless the goods being returned are faulty you must cover the cost of returning the goods to us. We will refund the cost of any goods you wish to return (excluding original delivery charge). We cannot accept returns of food items (this includes food colouring and dusts) whether opened or unopened, ribbon once cut and videos. (Your statutory rights are not affected)
Non-stock items can be specially ordered but are not returnable.
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have
the right to return most unused goods for any reason within 7 working days
of the day following your receipt of the goods. We must receive notification
of your intention to cancel in a durable medium - letter, email or fax (not
telephone) within that time period. We request that you make clear whether
you are returning the goods because of a fault or incorrect delivery, or for
any other reason. Following notification, goods should be returned to us a
soon as is possible and their good condition remains your responsibility
until we take delivery. The cost of returning goods cancelled under the
Distance Selling Regulations is to be bourne by the customer. However, if
you exercise your cancellation rights in accordance with the Distance
Selling Regulations you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price
and initial delivery costs. This right of cancellation does not extend to
food items (including colouring and dusts) whether opened or unopened,
ribbon (once cut) and videos
RESTRICTIONS
Where the order concerns knives, bladed articles, and alcohol by placing an order you confirm that you are over the age of 18.
